Those who have previously given up barbecue sauce because of the onions and peppers can now enjoy it again this grilling season with Hack’s BBQ Sauce.

Aurora, IL (PRWEB) 2-June-2011 SCDware Corporation of Aurora, Illinois introduces Hack’s BBQ Sauce, a specialty barbecue sauce made with no onions and no peppers for those with certain dietary restrictions. Company owner, Stephen Dodd, created the tomato-based sauce for his wife who became intolerant of onions and peppers in her diet. “We couldn’t find any barbecue sauces in the store that met her needs, so I decided to create one,” says Stephen.

Estimates suggest that up to twenty percent of people suffer some type of food intolerance or allergy, with a greater prevalence among those diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. People in this category who cannot tolerate onions or peppers may be able to enjoy barbecue sauce once again. Kathy Hadley of Geneva, New York is one of those people. She says, “I have a reaction to peppers that makes it very unpleasant when I consume them. When I tried Hack’s… I had absolutely no digestive problems afterward.”

Hack’s BBQ Sauce is a thick, sweet and tangy sauce that is designed to brush on evenly and stay on the meat while it is cooking. “It has a great flavor even without the onions and peppers,” states Stephen.

“You don’t need to have dietary problems to love Hack’s!” says customer Barbara Shapiro of Shokan, New York. “Being fully capable of enjoying both onions and peppers, Hack’s will still always be a staple at my barbecues.”

Hack’s BBQ Sauce is available at Prisco’s Fine Foods in Aurora, IL and can also be purchased by the bottle or case at the company’s website: http://www.hacksbbq.com

There is a barbecue company in Kentucky that is starting to get some serious recognition and the way people are reacting will soon be nationwide hit. The following is a short history of Draper’s from their Facebook page which gives a great introduction to this fast growing and popular Kentucky bbq company.

Draper’s BBQ is a small gourmet bbq company that is also a competition cooking team. It is an entirely family driven operation ran by the smiles we get from our customers every time they use one of our products or eat some of our bbq.

Draper’s BBQ actually started out as a very small restaurant in Bardwell, Ky. It was owned and operated by my grandparents, James and Ruby Draper. Some of my earliest memories were playing in the restaurant while people ate and my family worked. Still to this day the smell of oak and hickory burning takes me right back to the 1970′s and I can still hear the forks clanging on plates, the meat cleaver chopping up fresh pork shoulders right off of the pit and the roar of people talking.

This is what drives me today. I know I can never duplicate what my grandfather had and what he passed down to my father, but every time I fire up a pit I can still hear his voice in my head. Directing me and guiding me.

Draper’s BBQ for me is a way to keep my grandfather’s spirit alive and well. And a way for me to show respect and thanks to my father for the things that he has taught me.

The life of a bbq man isnt an easy one. Its long hours in terrible conditions most days. I will tell you though seeing the gleam in someone’s eyes and the smile on their face when they eat some really great bbq makes it all worth it for me. I know that’s why my grandfather did it and that is why I do it.
