Barbecue In The Spring

I do believe spring has sprung here in Kentucky. At least I hope so. After the ice storm and that came with it last month I for one am glad to so the thermometer hit 77 degrees today.  I was raking my yard of limbs leftover from the storm this morning when my neighbor pulled in his driveway. He got out of the car and when I waved he held up two large packs of baby back ribs – he has a smoker in his backyard and beleive me when he fires it up and the smoke starts heading this direction it makes me want go raid his smoker.

BBQ Festivals and Competitions will be kicking off soon if not already. The directory of festivals and competitions at our other site BBQ-Festivals.com is up to date as of today. There are still a few cookoffs and events that haven’t checked in with updated dates yet but they will be updated as soon as I hear from them.
