I was surfing some bbq oriented websites today and found the Wood Pellet Grill Outlet which is a site specializing in… you guessed it, wood pellet grills. This looks like a very good and informative site on the subject of wook pellet grills. They specialize in three brands; Traeger Grills, Smith & Wesson Wood Pellet Smokers and Louisiana Grill’s Country Smokers.
They have a great comparison chart that compares different sizes of smokers / grills by brand which has some really good information, especially if you are seriously shopping and ready to put out a good chunk of change for a quality smoker. Bags of wood pellets are available for purchase online. The pellets are made for the three lines of smokers they carry and come in hickory, mesquite, pecan, apple & alder, onion & garlic, maple, cherry & oak, and grapevine. All in all if you are looking for good info on a wood pellet smoker / grill then the Wood Pellet Grill Outlet is one of the first places you should visit.

Bought a Lil Tex Elite from PGO and it took over two months for them to ship; so much for expidited shipping. In fairness, I did receive everything I ordered . . . finally. Would not recommend this business and they will get no more of mine.

I’ve purchased a drip tray, digital thermostat, and several orders of pellets from PGO. Nothing has ever arrived in less than 45 days, they have sent the wrong items, and it has been a very unpleasant experience.
I’ve made the mistake of thinking it was “just this time” that was bad too many times. They are terrible to work with and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Terrible customer service. They lied to me several times, and never sent a product, but they took my money right away. I will shout from the mountain tops, avoid Pellet Grill Outlet at all costs!

Pellet grill outlet has provided exceptional service. I had one pellet bag miss shipment out of perfect countless deliveries through my years., the not only shipped my missing bag, allowed me to keep my other pellet bag, and even offered me a discount on my next purchase. Years of doing business with PGO, I have never been let down and trust if any future orders may fall short, they will go over and beyond to resolve any mistakes. Companies like this, supporting American products and making customers like myself happy regardless off the situations are rare these days. I am a PGO customer for life.

I wish I would have seen posts like these a few months ago. I fell for the reputable looking site and all the high praises about the great customer service. I ordered a grill from them more than two months ago and they still have not delivered…but they had no problem charging my credit card on the day of the order. It also takes several days to get a response from customer service, if you get one at all. I’m w/Joe, DO NOT ORDER FROM PELLET GRILL OUTLET (PGO).

Is PGO still in business? This is http://pelletgrilloutlet.com in Oregon. I placed an order June 19th and it is now August 1 and I am still waiting. Twice I was told by Anna Maria my parts were shipping and nothing ever arrived. I have tried calling them multiple times everyday for a week as well as emails and have gotten no response. As of Friday, the voicemail was full and you couldn’t even leave a message. Since I was at the end of the window of time to file a Paypal claim, I went ahead and opened a claim. During that process I got Anna Maria’s cell phone which I also tried calling – no answer. I also tried contacting them through Towler’s Market that is advertised on the PGO website, but no one there could get me in contact with them either. My assumption is PGO is out of business or going out of business. I WOULD NOT PLACE ANY ORDERS WITH PGO OR IF YOU DO ONLY VIA PHONE AND A CREDIT CARD THAT YOU CAN REVERSE THE CHARGES THROUGH YOUR BANK INSTEAD OF PAYPAL.

I ordered pellets from this site in the past with no problem. I ordered pellets in May and have been charged, but have never received anything. I have also called and email with no reply.
I am in the process of contesting the charges with Visa, but haven’t heard if I will get a credit. Meanwhile, I have run out of pellets!
DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

I ordered two items on June 30th and have not received anything. I have tried to contact PGO via phone and e-mail with no response. I did speak to a Brian on July 19th, he said he was the new manager and that everything would ship on July 22nd. If he is the manager he should be fired! It is now August and I have opened a complaint with the Better Buisness Bureau. After reveiwing these complaints mabe they will shut them down. “DO NOT BUY FROM PGO)!!!!!!

I agree with most comments here….this is the most sorry excuse for a business ever. I wish I would seen these comments before I let a staff person from PGO cart my beloved Traeger away to be refurbished. That was the beginning of June and I have only gotten one return call and email in all that time. Of course, they charged my credit card the day they picked it up. I want my grill back and my money returned. I will have to start the process of reporting them to the BBB and seeing if I can contest the charges with my credit card company. Meanwhile I am still out my grill…I am have been double conned.

Bought a Memphis Advantage on 6/15 through PGO. They charged my card the full amount immediately (same day). I was excited because I just knew my grill was on the way. No one charges your card until they can provide you with a tracking # and the unit leaves the door, right? Well, wrong! No tracking #. Finally spoke to Customer Service on 7/19 still no grill and no tracking #. He assured me that it was being shipped from MN and I would get a tracking # in a few days via email. By 7/29 still no tracking # and no grill and no response from PGO. By now they have been leveraging my money for 6 weeks. I surfed the web to find the manufacturer in MN that Brian had mentioned and I found them! I left a message which was promptly returned by the GM of Hearthland Products who supplies the Memphis Grill to dealers across the US including PGO.

Well, Bob could not have been kinder. He was a breath of fresh air! Bob sent me to work with another one of his dealers called Big Poppa Smokers. They placed my order and shipped out same day. They matched the PGO offer and they were just so kind. I got a complete refund from my credit card and the new grill is on the way.
I learned that the CEO of PGO was arrested for cocaine possession last week. I looked for the report online and found it. It is true. Here is the link:

BBB rated PGO as grade F. Bear in mind that BBB is not a Gov’t organization and will not be able to shut them down. Both Memphis and MAK have dropped them. You can see on their website product pick menu that they are no longer dealers for any brands. The CEO has been selling businesses lately, including a business left to him by his parents, presumably to fuel a drug habit.

I purchased a Memphis Advantage from WholesalePatioStore.COM & it arrived in 7 calendar days!

I brought a few products from PGO and will never buy anything else. A couple weeks ago I ordered some BroadLeaf pellets I never recieved any thing. They took my money and i feel disrespected. I have called many times and emailed them, Yesterday I looked at my bank statement and it says the people who took my money are affiliated with Broadleaf pellet wood. I don’t understand I made the order with PGO. They got me once they will never get me again.

Supposedly PGO was taken over/purchased by American Broadleaf. I received an email from someone at American Broadleaf in regards to them acquiring all the the assets of PGO Pellet Grill Outlet. I was also informed by the same person at American Broadleaf the Frogmats I ordered on the 7th of August were shipped on Sept. 26th ( charged for Fedex shipping ) and after 8 days still no Frogmats. The people at American Broadleaf are just as bad as the people that ran PGO, not upfront or truthful.
This should be a warning to not order from these companies. Now I will look for a reputable company to order my Frogmats.

American Broadleaf and PGO have same owner. He was arrested recently for cocaine possession. It’s likely your dough went straight up his nose.

Was the guy name Rich? He’s sending everyone bogus emails. Keep away from this company.

I ordered pellets from PGO and never received them. Have received two emails from Richard Lightowler with a bogus FedEx number with him reassuring that he has packed and shipped the products himself. He is quite the liar and to think that the PGO website is still up receiving orders and burning people. PGO IS NO LONGER IN BUSINESS…the Better Business Bureau has an alert out on this company and states that this business is no longer in business.

Richard Lightowler is the owner. He was arrested last summer for cocaine possession. In August he was arrested again for parole violation — DUI.
This company is bad news! Why has it taken so long for the DA to shut him down? He has fleeced so many customers!

I ordered product in 10/11 and received it, but one item does not work. I have been unable to contact them phone or email does not work, phones disconnected. Looks like they are unrelieable.
